Christina Yordanova

Participant in Art exhibition

Kristina began her artistic journey in high school by enrolling in an art specialization, later continuing with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts at Sofia University. There, she explored the intricacies of various genres and artistic trends, specializing in printmaking and graduating with a focus on conceptual graphics.

During her studies, she developed a strong interest in experimental techniques, conceptual art, and analog photography. Seeking new avenues for self-expression, she discovered circus arts, which in 2022 became her profession as an aerial acrobatics coach.

She then pursued studies in Art Therapy at the National Academy of Arts, with her thesis defense currently pending.

At present, Kristina works primarily as a school psychologist, and in her free time, she dedicates herself to volunteer work at Animal Rescue Sofia. She is deeply drawn to social and grotesque themes, combining various techniques and materials to evoke strong emotions in viewers - exposing the ugly, hidden sides of the world around us.
